New beginnings.

 

     The New year was coming fast and my husband and I felt our family needed big changes with big results. Our oldest son was diagnosed with ADHD/ADD when he was in the third grade. My second son had a seizure in  June 2011 and also struggles in school. My third and second son each suffer from extreme constipation which might be a bit of TMI but its what happening.

    The plan went from wheat and gluten free to a Paleo lifestyle. You may wonder how we were able to get our oldest boys on board. We watched, as a family, the documentary, Hungry For Change. This video showed them why it is important to watch what goes in your body and what exactly is it you're putting in your mouth to begin with.

   As we researched our new wheat free and gluten free life style mostly through Wheat Belly we discovered The Everyday Paleo Lifestyle with Jason and Sarah. This is when we really decided how we wanted to live and how we wanted to feel, as well as our children.

The journey begins....


Every Saturday morning my husband and I pick up our fruits and vegetables for the week from Bountiful Baskets. This is where I begin my week plans of meals for the following week.
